Domestic Violence Awareness

Alpha Chi Omega was the first women's fraternity to take on Domestic Violence Awareness. Nationally, every chapter of Alpha Chi Omega works with its own local women's shelters to give back in its own cities. Alpha Chi Omega at the University of Arkansas is proud to support Peace at Home Family Shelter. They are an organization that provides shelter, services, and support to victims of domestic violence. Additionally, the Delta Rho chapter works with Magdalene Serenity House, which is a local healing sanctuary for women who have suffered with addiction, domestic violence, and trauma. Every semester, Alpha Chi Omega hosts philanthropy events to raise money for these amazing organizations.
